, Posa B f/2.8, ISO 1600, tripod.

Under the beautiful Sardinian skies, I could also accumulate a couple of hours on this difficult nebula, which I had long wanted to resume. This is the extensive nebulosity IC1396, which has perfectly returned in the field of 6d baader applied to the 400mm f2.8 used at full aperture. Sum of 15 poses from 8 minutes to 1600iso and filter D1. I dedicate this image to my friend Gianclaudio Ciampechini, who left us a week ago to fly among the nebulous ones he loved so much.

Beautiful, as are always your shots.
Although personally I would have hit more a red more... drama, like the heart and spirit. ;-)

Thanks to all, actually for this processing I preferred to "Keep myself light", to keep the evanescent aspect of this very weak nebula... Maybe I have a little ' exaggerated and I could have counter it a little ' more, I would have a more aggressive version, maybe the load on a secondary gallery just to maybe discuss the result...

Here is the most "appealing" version....

Congratulations is a beautiful photo to a difficult subject.
You got a beautiful three-dimensionality in this photo.

Bella Cristian
I like more the first that you define more "captivating" (I find it really too "overprocessed")
you point out just a little "chromatic annoyance" of the stars all very blue and a little "spanciate"
said this that is more a technicality What else, I repeat excellent image. Good!
The Supertele really makes it well on the modified SLR

I like the other more, more contraed, more black sky..... If I look at them blinkandole there is no story.

Here, I have the proof thanks to you that it is very difficult to find a right balance during processing, for sure everything becomes easier with greater integration, which should make it easier to highlight the details....
