Good idea and composition, but I do not love the portraits with a clear break between light and shadow (especially on the face).

probably a little too extreme, it is part of a series in which I wanted to photograph a subject close to his work that for the most part are the lamps, then the situational wanted was an environment where the only light present was precisely that its lamps ... that explains this very strong detachment of light and shadow ... let's say that the situation is deliberately atypical posteriori ... if we would use the reflective panels not used here because it considers that no flash.

BRAVO

After your emphasis must say the shot and tells the subject convinces his job.
Frankly I did not understand the title, but the setting, raccontanto something more, now clear to me and I can appreciate how I appreciate also the post production choice.

BRAVO

Ciao, Ste.

I really like working on the face and sharp contrasts light / shadow. I find, however, the lamps on the first floor a little '"bulky" ... perhaps you could review the composition and use them as the picture frame (ie cutting the shot left by removing the black stripe). Obviously it's just a little note for a shot that still affects ;-). Hello, Ste

thanks maxspin, it must be said that shooting questionnaire is part of a series and other shots were going to explain it better.
Stebesa, starting with this shot and removing the black part on the left that did not please me because it should offset the black on the right. shots would be redone with greater awareness, but go with the car in his laboratory is very risky ... you live totally in the dust, almost suicidal for the car ;-)

Ste.

Do not tell me ... I always have a fear of ruining the lenses with what they cost ... :-/. Ste
