Very pushed development, as a whole a good effect even if I would have cared even better the details. The species is very beautiful and the blur does the photography.

Fabio What do you mean by development pushed?

I would have done a more natural post production but they are tastes;)

I'd like to know what you mean by more natural, I honestly don't understand

Let me explain: if you shoot in raw I do not think that the image recorded by the machine is the same as that published by you on Juza. The sharpness yield on the head and a little too hard and takes away naturalness, I would have used a radius of sharpness less to have a more real image... or given less contrast mask (depends on how you do the post production). It is strange also the net detachment between the head to Fuochissimo and the rest of the body of the snake that goes clearly outside. The background I read that is so original but appears a little too burnt... maybe because of the light too harsh.
Anyway are not critical, I'm gusti...io just prefer to keep the shot the most faithful to the reality... and this shot gives the impression of being a little too lavorato...ma maybe I'm wrong, it's just my impression :-)
a greeting
Fabio

Ok Fabio, Thanks, now I understand what you mean. As far as the contrast mask is, it could be a little softer though, compared to the raw, the difference is not appreciable. The fire plane of the head is different from the body of the snake and having snapped with diaphragm at 5.6 is wanted to isolate the particular. The white is white, I do not believe burned and, in any case, absolutely tried with over-exposure of over 2 stops.
Then, as you rightly said, matter of taste :-)

I find it an original and well-realized shot. Congratulations.
