Un'esperienza che auguro a qualsiasi persona. Non mi era mai capitato di vedere un cielo così stellato. La via lattea era visibile ad occhio nudo e pur essendo metà novembre sono riuscito a vedere 5 stelle cadenti. Il monte Pelmo qui è ripreso dal parcheggio dal quale si imbocca la strada per andare al Rifugio Città di Fiume. you know what ... the picture is beautiful, very kind in reporting the location but I would have tried again by changing the focus for a moment, I do not think it is just a matter of ISO kneading ... 25sec for me is the most exposed with a 20mm at night ;-)

Very nice indeed! You may also try to better highlight the bright stars and colors.

Thanks Cobarcore, I tried to highlight them as much as possible. So I seem to have achieved the desired result. Thanks for the ride and the valuable advice!

com very beautiful and spectacular sky.
next time test with 3200 ISO, the 5D2 keeps them well, and do tests to 20-25-30 sec.
The first floor is clearly out of focus, again testing procedure: first you focus to infinity and controls, will be a little 'out of focus, then wheel back slightly the ring of MAF and try again, double-check and go on like this until you've found the perfect MAF.
in the post to highlight the stars I recommend the method of local contrast with the Unsharp Mask: Juza explains it well here

In 3200 the scene seemed a little 'darker. for that I raised so much. To focus the next time I will act as you suggested. Now I read the article. Diego thank you so much for the tips!

The scene must have been rather amazing to find the maf at night is always a business, should be above the point of actual infinity maf is not always an indication of the optics is accurate ;-)

This was my first test of the Milky Way. Honestly, given the results I get now this seems like a great mash. But you have to start somewhere ..

Thanks for the ride Babu! ;-)
