Il pianeta rosso, sembrava proprio di essere lì, come in un film ! Guardandomi intorno vi era solo una distesa di lapilli, sabbia, rocce rosse. Questa foto è arrivata finalmente dopo il mio terzo tentativo in un anno, quando purtroppo i miei primi due viaggi fotografici a Tenerife sono stati condizionati da un meteo che non mi permetteva di realizzare le foto che avevo in programma . La prima volta che scoprii questo posto, infatti, fu subito amore ! L'idea di addentrarmi in questo "pseudo deserto" mi eccitava tanto, così decisi che doveva essere a tutti i costi il soggetto di una foto panoramica, la quale riuscisse trasmettesse l'atmosfera "Marziana" che si respirava! Un grande paradosso è stato trovare temperature bassissime, ma proprio queste mi hanno consentito di ammirare un cielo pressoché perfetto, pulito, di una visibilità ed un dettaglio che mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta, senza contare l'intenso airglow all'orizzonte ! Una condizione che mi ha ripagato, del doppio, tutta l'attesa e lo sconforto dei precedenti tentativi andati male... ma dopotutto la fotografia notturna è soprattutto questo !
