Maybe I would have left more air in front of the mountaineer to the right to make the scene more dynamic but I really like the image and I find it right the panoramic cut!

Thanks for the advice Fabio... I would have done it too if it were not that there was another subject that I decided to cut out of the frame as a distance too close with the second...

I would have left more air in front of the mountaineer on the right to make the scene more dynamic; I really like the 16:9 cut you gave.

thanks for the Nangi Passage... I would also have liked to leave more space on the right but there was another climber and in addition the snow walkway ended... in the end I preferred to cut...

The effect given by the Indian row and the intense white light of the snow is beautiful. Congratulations.

As a technician of the Alpine Rescue, seeing those people in short pants and with sticks beautifully attached to the backpack (who has them) while crossing a snowy slope makes me think of the unconsciousness of the people and how many times we went to recover cheerful walkers who move without any precaution in an inaccessible environment ..... that said.... Beautiful photo and title very apt

hello maximum
Thanks for the passage but I make a clarification just to avoid any controversy in the thread ... the photo was taken in safe conditions...
precisely during an itinerant trekking organized by the CAI.
Of snow, all along the way, there was nothing left except that small strip ... that I used for artistic purposes It was taken in the middle of August and in fact and there were almost 30 degrees :)
For the rest it was far from an impervious passage ... sometimes photography can deceive :)

Thanks for the clarification; unfortunately too often we have to intervene for trivial slips even on the damp grass that end in tragedy, only in the last year two dead and many injured for accidents on the path. Seeing in photos situations of potential risk makes me think of the times we had to take the injured downstream on a stretcher or when I had to close the zip of the bag and sign the death statement.
Sorry for the OT intrusion

I can understand for sure... and it is undeniably true that in recent years accidents in the mountains have undergone a surge ... the figures speak for themselves. I believe that more and more people, after the lockdown, feel the need to escape and unfortunately not everyone does it taking the necessary precautions. Some of these ignoring even what, at times, suggests common sense or an expert companion in the case of the CAI ...
