Ancora complimenti! ;-)
Raffaele

It 's amazing ... I think a macro set, where the subject is the leaf with the waterfall that serves as the backdrop ...
Whereas, then you've taken with a D90 and simple with an economic objective (without denigrating, remains well-understood wow!) the result is more than great!
I often read on this forum long arguments among canonists and nikonisti, but the eye (and heart) of the photographer at the end makes the difference, and here we see the great!
Congratulations again! ;-)
Raffaele

Ciao Raffaele,

Hello Raffaele,
regarding the "honest worker" or the 18-105, I must say that, although not always consistent in performance, it is worth the (little) money it costs, and as for me and how I treat him, I can only speak well! :-D
As for this photo I must say that, as I wrote above, it was a little too much a stretch given the light of day but I still wanted to bring something home and the result was this .. thanks again! ;-)

Marina

I like it very much and, given the shooting data posted, it remains a curiosity to know what are the shenanigans put in place to cope with the excessive brightness ;-)

Ciao MarinaSorriso
Ermanno

Hello Marina :-)
I thank you for the appreciation .. but I must tell you that as "shenanigans" are more or less to the levels of the Magician Oronzo! :-D
During the shot I took of 62mm in order to decrease the brightness "in" lens while, if I remember correctly, in PP I tried to bring out the leaf increasing a little bit the sharpness, brightness, and color saturation ! ;-)

Thanks :-) Ermanno always helpful with my curiosity ;-)
From my point of view, the estimate for your shenanigans is always more than reasoned and justified.
Even today with your
I took in 62mm in order to decrease the brightness "in" objective
you've added an arrow in my quiver.
Maybe what is well known, but for me it's a nice refresher technique.

Marina

PS
That JUNIOR SENIOR on your avatar and on my sbellicare me:-D:-D:-D ... even though technically more than motivated ;-)

Figurati Marina..
Ciao Marina,
Ermanno

Imagine marina .. it is a pleasure! ;-)
We say that not having special filters when I get to do these shots have to try to make do:-D .. and the fact that the place was still shaded helped me! ;-)
Senior or Junior I think that really cares little .. the important thing is to be "young at heart"! :-D

Ciao

I've written just search the net anyway ;-) signs for the "Trail of the River" .. path is a beautiful and fun that takes place along the stream that descends from Grignone through the Val d'Era and part locations in Mandello Sonvico above. Besides the glide path is the Church of St. Mary with a beautiful view of the lake.
See this link for the first indications: nonsolobanca.popso.it/cm/pages/ServeBLOB.php/L/IT/IDPagina/221
In this period, then it must be particularly nice since it is located at low altitudes and vegetation should have the right "coloration". ;-)
If you go have fun .. and let me know if you liked it! :-)
ps: there are some slightly exposed but are still equipped
