Dear Francesco
is a mythical and unrepeatable photo.
Formations to 9 aircraft are-today-prohibited.
The photo is made from the edge of a MB326 of the 9th Stormo.
Pilot Cap. R. Altamura; Photo of the then cap. G. Lenzi
... a century ago.
Good job
G. Lenzi

My God, really long! Surely the new aircraft can never give the same emotions

The new aircraft are better. But we will not see ever fly 9 F-35 together.

Amazing picture!!! and childhood and adolescent memories, when a sonic bang from a training fighter was not written in the paper. Of course the F104 was as beautiful as dangerous. I got to do an exercise in which at the beginning of the assault of company was planned a bombing intervention, obviously simulated, two F104, arrived so low that you could see the details of the nacelle... The noise was enough to generate the terror. Other times.. :-D :-D

... that we will never hear as before.
The Roar does not make the lungs tremble but the gastrointestinal tract.

Oh well... everything trembled.... I remember the last parade at Levaldigi Airport. I was starting to do my first photos... The speaker announces the imminent arrival of a tornado, without saying how much it will come... when we were now forgetting, since it never came... here it all starts to tremble and, in less than a second, there is a few Tens of meters on the head, wings all closed... I do not know what speed he did, but it was a magical moment, crazy, explosive.... I will never forget... someone should be made Sotto...sicuramente...io, instead, I enjoyed.... :-)

General very vivid congratulations for all these shots! I was born and raised near Venegono, Patria Aermacchi (now Leonardo), where every day both the 326 and the 339 sailed the skies of Varese in the direction of Torino.
