Hello David, first of all fantastic snap congratulations! You say you used exposure times ranging from 20 seconds to less than 1... But I wonder: although in this very large field, with 20 seconds of exposure, shouldn't you already start to see the crawl of the Moon and Mars? On the other hand, even in the phase of totality the Moon remains well round and Mars pointy... Thank you, I'm preparing for tonight's partial eclipse!
Hello, Daniel

Hello Daniel thank you! Being at 35mm (about 50 on FF) let's say you can go further than telephoto lenses. On the original photo if I zoom the shots to 20 seconds you actually see a very light strip on the Moon as well as for Mars. Not being so experienced I did it this way but if I had to do it again I would definitely not go beyond 10 seconds and double the ISOs for safety. 20 seconds is only the first, already from the second shot I dropped to 15 seconds and you already notice the difference.

Thank you so much David for the explanation! By the way, last night I managed to take some photos of the partial eclipse, here is one: www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?l=it&bk=m-1-&t=3249503
