Messico,Yucatan,nell'entroterra vicino a Chichen Itza,c'e' Ik Kill,un cenote o pozzo naturale tanto sacro ai Maya. Lo ritenevano il collegamento con l'aldila'. Cosi' si svolgevano dei sacrifici donando al cenote prigionieri ,vergini,e monili di vario genere. Oggi ci si puo' tuffare e immergere stando pero' attenti all'acqua pesante , ricca di calcare,che puo' rendere faticosa la nuotata.
