Acharavi è una cittadina a circa 40 Km da Corfù. Ha una spiaggia bellissima lunga circa 3 km e il mare cristallino, con fondali bassi, dove possono tranquillamente giocare anche i bambini. Lungo tutto il litorale a due metri dalla riva, locali, ristorantini e tavernette con i colori tipici della zona, che sembrano aver attinto alla tavolozza di Matisse. Il tramonto in spiaggia è semplicemente spettacolare: il cielo che si incendia, l'acqua che si tinge di riflessi rossi, e tante coppie mano nella mano a passeggiare sul bagnasciuga.
