Partiti dal Rifugio Dibona a mezzanotte con l'idea di salire sulla cima della Tofana di Rozes per l'alba, verso le 04:30 ci rendiamo conto che non possiamo raggiungerla a causa di un traverso di ghiaccio, siamo in ogni caso sopra i 3000 metri sulla spalla di questa enorme montagna e decidiamo di aspettare l'alba da questo punto, il sole esce dalla Tofana di Mezzo, e con i suoi raggi ci riscalda dopo una notte passata sotto lo zero. A sinistra le bastionate della Tofana di Mezzo ( con il famoso "Bus de Tofana" , a destra il Cristallo e nel centro in secondo piano le Tre cime di Lavaredo.
