Beautiful, fuzzy light subject..
I would have preferred a more frontal pdr.. The left eye out of focus I don't really like in this case.. True that "identifies"
the blurred and the detachment of the planes of the lens, but disturbs a little.. personal opinion and highly opinabilissimo

It will be, but to me is fashion giant eyes do not like at all. Let's hope it steps in as fast as the HDR.

You bleached your eyes too much in my opinion :-D
and come with STI... too bad because the model is worth. Beautiful position the light the color of the dress.

Thank you all for the comments!
is one of my first portraits, there is much to improve and every criticism is well accepted :-)
@Canopo70
Yes the left eye is out of focus, the portrait is in ambient light (a window), I was already at ISO 1600 and I did not want to push myself further. (I come from a Nikon d2x that already at 800 ISO Sgrana). Cmq I will keep in mind your advice and for the next few times I will try to go down with the times.
@giorgiomilone
Quotone on HDR, but intervene in post to reduce eyes... It seemed to me a sacrilege ?
I think I should improve on the pose... The folds of the neck do not convince me....

"The next few times I'll try to go down with the times."
attentive to The Mirror's blur. (I also have the D800)
I would not come down under 1/160
or go to live view in support or tripod (among other things your lens is not stabilized)
the folds of the neck you see after and little, I would attenuerei only a spin
Hello
Good photos

Thank you Naturman of the board:)
If then 1/160 will not be enough.... I will welcome the advice of Canopo70 and change pdr.
for bleached eyes... I have only applied a bit of camera raw clarity filter... Would you advise me some technique to correct?
Cmq "eyes from ox" will be a terminre that I'll definitely impressed for the next shots:D
again thank you all!

Personally, I like the work done on the eyes however, as mentioned before and for a reason that I do not explain, I would have preferred the left eye in focus. For the rest, very nice portrait, beautiful model.

Very nice portrait.
A small consideration: given the shutter speed of 1/200, the 85mm focal length and the aperture open at F/2, you could have closed the diaphragm to the limit of the safety time, so you have a less extreme PDC and also include the farther eye.
I write it in hindsight, it also happened to me (fanatic of the bokeh) to use a reduced PDC and have the eye farther outside the PDC.

Despite the small defects of focus and/or micro-blur (now the D800 is legendary for these things), the photo is very beautiful: the expression almost detached but still serene (almost relaxed) of the model is very pleasant.
also the contrast between the color of the eye and the red of the dress really captures the attention.
Congratulations!

Despite the small defects of focus and/or micro-blur
There is no focus defect, here we talk about PDC (depth of field). The focus is perfect on the 1st eye, closing the diaphragm would have increased the PDC and also included the 2nd eye.
There's not even a blur, where did you see it? :-o

No, sorry I expressed myself badly.
I meant to omit the PDC speech and if any (that there is not) Micromosso, because the photo really deserves. It would go beyond any ' technical ' flaws.
Rereading my comment in fact, I did not express myself perfectly...
Excuse me.

The head is turned to 90 ° if there were no it would be an alien! I do not see anything unaesthetic
for the PDC is a matter of taste, there are those who love it very narrow, the important thing is that the focus is perfect and here I Semb that it is.
