, 1/4 f/18.0, ISO 640, tripod. Specie: Attacus atlas

A beautiful beast to be a caterpillar.
The proceeds detail is very good. It always shows the difficulty of certain caterpillars to shield the light from above to mitigate glare.

I agree entirely with Guz, especially with regard to the background, almost steals the main subject! :-)

Thanks to all the guys passing and appreciation :)
The background I liked very much, for in fact I specifically changed side to take: D point out that the more white on the back is not so much a reflection of the light, but rather a peculiarity of these caterpillars: in fact, on the back have a thin layer of white wax from the head to the anus who is also the harsh bumps, that's because of the "white" on the back :)
@ Guz, "macro eddy few [...] " I must unfortunately agree with you, but I focused a lot sull'iniversità, now I'm done and I miss only the argument that I discuss at the end of March, so I will deliver just in time for spring and are ready to bring the shutter of my camera fusion to force you to take (I'm joking of course):-D:-D
