Silvano, Sergio, Claudio and Ale, thank you very much.... To get there just make the whole Valle Aurina, leave the car at Casere (the road ends) and follow the main path towards the refuge Tridentina.... Ciao a tutti |

Corrado, Simone, Ale and Roberto, thank you... I love these places, and I can tell them to know them well. Ale the Rifugio Vittorio Veneto has been redone, it is all new, with glass on the glacier surrounding it, I would say below, because the refuge is really the nest of Eagles.... There are 2 ways to achieve it, I did the first time the Camino Ferrata, from brividi...ma I was without sling, are almost all steel stairs, but the exposure is remarkable.... Or continuing to the debris basin from where the ferrata goes, going to view, following little stones you go north and then with a stretch with a fixed rope you come under the refuge.... It remains a long and demanding excursion. Then I slept at the refuge and in the morning, the summit of the Sasso Nero, which is all in glacial environment, then crampons and ice axe, but it is not too difficult, indeed..... |
