at 35mm, Posa B f/4.0, ISO 320, tripod.

+ 3 Dark Paesaggio: f/4.5 | ISO 320 | 242 sec. Luci: (f/4-f/9-f16) | ISO 100 | 30 sec.

But exactly the Milky Way where she was photographed? San Niceto should be heavily illuminated, on 20.80 mag./arc sec2 at most in the best evenings, and clearly with clouds and humidity was the worst case, plus despite the height you should have all the pollution coming from the coast that you Propagat more because of the weather, there were probably also absent jetstream. In short, the transparency was reduced to a minimum :-/

I always photographed from there, I just lifted the frame when the clouds were gone; it is a technique that I use to not have the landscape moved during the chase. Raising the framing so half the pollution went to get blessed:D
