Beautiful, I dreamed of being able to go, but the great tourist influx (mid-September) ruined my expectations of mystical landscape-candor... Imagine 3 couriers of Chinese and as many tourists within a canyon along just 200metri, where in certain Points you only pass in row Indiana! (maybe it was full because the day before they had closed due to the rain, but I doubt it would have been so different) The luck of the photo tours is that the guides, in turn, move people in order to completely free certain areas, then place them in strategic points to take pictures.. You can't go wherever you want, because you can't even move! In The area is full of almost identical and equally charming canyons, better to opt for other less tourist! Thank you, blessed anyway who will go, deserves the same! |

I read around that to shoot with the tripod you pay a larger share.. It's true? |

In regular tours tripods, monofeet or selfie stick are forbidden (otherwise you really kill yourself) you have to book a photo tour, which of course costs more! tell you where to position yourself and for each station they give you about 10 minutes of time, then you scroll forward... for that I say that between follow their directions and people, in the end you lose a little ' the magic of the canyon. I had booked here: Https://www.navajoantelopecanyon.com/Index.asp The afternoon and night tours allow you to bring other people/relatives even if not interested in photography. The early risers are only for photographers with machines and tripods following.. I think they are busier because you should be able to see the rays of sun penetrate towards rush hour, in fact they cost even a little more... If you need more info ask as well! |
