La fotocopia secondo me "bisogna" farla, nel senso che credo sia importante confrontarsi con immagini stereotipate: la necessità di trovare altro parte proprio da lì!
In particolare, qui all'Abbazia di Senanque devo dire che di spunti ce ne sono molti, a volerli cercare. Questa inquadratura viene dall'esigenza di utilizzare al meglio la luce (ancora un po' duretta, bruciava il cielo a voler riprendere tutta l'abbazia) e dal tentativo di creare una geometria interessante utilizzando l'abside del transetto ed i filari. Con lo zoom è stato facile isolare i particolari: all'epoca avrei voluto allargare (ma non potevo, ero già a 80mm) mentre oggi la vorrei provare ancora più stretta (ma non posso, quest'anno niente Provenza! ), quindi per ora mi tengo questa. Ne ho anche una versione verticale, che per certi versi è migliore, ma per altri meno convincente.

Sono stato molte volte a Senanque, sempre al calar del sole: capisco e condivido il disappunto, perché la luce è splendida sull'abbazia e sul campo, ma il cielo risulta ingestibile. Un po' per questo e un po' perché affascinato dalle geometrie di questa composizione stretta, ho provato questo scatto. Pensa che ero partito con l'idea di fare una lunga esposizione per avere i filari di lavanda mossi dal vento.... Non è forse il luogo migliore, l'ho capito!
Comunque, credo sia un posto affascinante, che merita la visita nonostante sia spesso invaso da turisti di ogni tipo. Ma un vantaggio del tramonto è che i pullman stracarichi se ne vanno e si rimane in silenzio!
