qui iniziò la Battaglia del Solstizio nel Basso Piave. A destra c'erano i fanti del 146° fanteria, brigata Catania. a sinistra i soldati della 10a divisione austro ungarica. Dopo quattro ore di bombardamento a gas ed esplosivo, alle 7.15 del 15 giugno 1918, con 350 barche furono traghettati alla sponda italiana quattro reggimenti, che penetrarono le prime difese sconvolte e distrutte dall'artiglieria.
