Come al solito siamo arrivati al gate di Bandavgrah al mattino prestissimo molto in anticipo rispetto all' orario di apertura per potere essere tra le prime auto ad entrare nel parco. Quella mattina, contrariamente al solito, c'erano parecchi persone ( alla fine dell' escursione mattutina avremo poi capito che si trattava dell' inizio delle celebrazioni di Kabir ) ed alcune di loro, per proteggersi dal freddo pungente si erano strette attorno ad un fuoco acceso a canto a quella che sembrava un improbabile fermata di autobus.
