at 310mm, 1/1000 f/10.0, ISO 10000,

It would be interesting to understand the place of the click (I think is Tsavo?) ... in case it is in captivity should be reported.
The portrait is very good, in the development treat better saturation of colors, leaving them more naturali...ma it is a little thing...
A greeting
Fabio

Hi Fabio.
You're absolutely right. I have entered description. Forgetfulness my 8-)
regarding the post, no saturation added and no change to the colors. I was there in April, with the rainy season at the gates, and some downpours already started to wet this red land. A nice peal had been there just the day before.
This specimen was one of the less red ones we met. Probably one of the first in the group to bask in the mud that morning, because the others were of an unreal color. They still had the red trunk, sign that the bathroom had just been made.
at 7 a.m. The newly risen sun did the rest.

Imagine. Thanks to you of the comment, rather!
I removed from the gallery another shot to a younger specimen because the light and the mud make it look painted and unreal ;-)

I believe that these "beasts" alone are worth the journey. I was lucky enough to see them with these colors, just immersed in the mud.
Forse posteried another with even more intense reds. They look like they're painted with markers.
