non servono competenze specifiche, ma solo una passione per gli animali e la voglia di lavorare un po' anche in vacanza... e anche una base di inglese per comunicare...
L'unico consiglio che posso darti è di verificare bene il posto dove fare questo genere di volontariato. Infatti, soprattutto in sud Africa ci sono molti parchi/allevamenti soprattutto di leoni che offrono un'esperienza di "volontariato" e la possibilità di intereagire con giovani leoni. Spesso però questi centri sono "macchine commerciali"...allevano i cuccioli per avere volontari quando questi sono piccoli e quando diventano adulti vengono venduti a riserve di caccia, business purtroppo molto comune in sud africa.
Questo non è il caso dell'Harnas wildlife foundation in cui sono stato. Se vuoi un esperienza del genere te lo consiglio vivamente. Hanno un loro sito e contattandoli ti forniscono tutte le informazioni. Programmalo con un certo anticipo perchè il posto è molto richiesto e perchè è necessario il visto di lavoro. Il periodo minimo è 2 settimane.
