, 1/250 f/7.1, ISO 250, hand held. Val d'Orcia, Italy.

A picture of soft and delicate colors, nice work and good sunny day.

This I really like, will be that lately I seek situations and more intimate and special compositions, will be that I love photographing in the Fog 8-) It will also be that I broke my balls to always see sunrises and sunsets all the same in landscape gallery, but this Image has the true taste of nature.
only thing, I would see the shade of purple flowers blurred in the background because it seems that they disappear a bit too much.
Compliments

I agree with what Simone wrote, Leonardo! Nice picture, nice atmosphere and nice subject!
I add a little thing: you probably had a tall grass near the lens, which generated a vertical line that once noticed is rather annoying... It's along the third on the left. Maybe by cloning the upper part that stands out against the fog and the tree is no longer noticeable! ;-)

I am not of many words and technically I leave to be desired, but the image is very beautiful!!

It could be anywhere, but your story tells us something more about the context in which you collected this beautiful image. You have found a beautiful composition, the focus on the olive makes everything very ethereal and balanced in terms of perception, although this is muffled. Beautiful colors, on the violet Quoto Simone (but alone I did not realize) and on the blade of Grass Quoto Alberto (ditto as above). But it is known that they generate "woodworms". Or at least, that's how it is. In an extremely positive sense, I mean. :-D
said this, Leonardo, congratulations for having drawn with simplicity a beautiful story and an image of great sensitivity and delicacy.

Guys first of all thanks a lot to everyone! Personally I think one of my favorite shots made here in Val D'orcia during this season, and I'm glad that someone has appreciated! :-)
coming now to the errors that have found Simone and Alberto (oh guys you really do the fleas in Ste photos eh :-D :-D of course joke!); I had not made any case to the purple NE to the blade of grass I'm sincere :-D now that you have made me notice I agree with both , I have to desaturate a thread the purple flowers farther away and now that I noticed the blade of grass in fact disturbs! I'll see to fix, and thanks as always guys! :-)
Thank you all again!
A greeting, Leonardo

Nice idea to blur the poppies, as already said the result is very interesting, it seems almost a picture, I really like.
Did you have occasion to make a similar shot even with good light at sunrise or sunset?

Hi Dario! Thanks for the ride! Yes I went back even under different conditions, but without fog it's just not the same thing, because behind the olive tree there is a lot of disturbing things :-)
A greeting, Leonardo
