Undoubtedly a well-managed floral picture.
for what little I know of this technique is the use of a light used on the subject as it were a brush, now since the forum is also made to know what you do not know I would like to understand how you did to hide so well the light in the background because I think Nonhinder And this is very little you should have seen a faint luminosity caused by the extension of the light of the lamp used to paint which ends up on the dark part of the background itself.

Ciao.

Andrea.

Hi Pigi47.
the background..... how many problems!!!
I trashed about twenty shots because of those damn reflections!
The solution I found it simply avoiding to point the light in front of the subject.
I had to move everything around the flower, pointing the Torch (whose light was somewhat weak) from above, from below and the sides in the direction of the orchid.
Thank you so much for the welcome visit Pier.
a dear greeting.
Andrea.

Hello Loredana, it is not easy to explain in a few lines the technique of light painting.
I can advise you, in this regard, a short and interesting video on YouTube.
The title is "Caravaggio in the Kitchen" and the author is Renato MacDonald.
This movie I was recommended by the talented Mauro Malhotra and I really loved it.
Thank you for the comment and the appreciations.
A good day, bye bye.
Andrea.
