Excellent detail on the subject and pleasing the background. I find it pleasant to see the flower roost through the pattern of the wings.

Gosh, you've got a good read of the enviable wing mosaics, but what I envy most is the ability to get certain images freehand..... crazy.

Hello Pier, meanwhile thanks for the nice comment you wrote. For the free hand, as I wrote more than once I help with a monopod, but we are distant from the use of a tripod, it certainly gives you a hand but being able to turn on your axis you have to control the side shifts and more difficult those back and forth that Being a macro are very important, certainly comes to help the stabilizer and the focus continues, without these two aids you can have a great steady hand but it would be really hard to get sharp shots. The other difficulty is that by photographing subjects in activity day you have little time, so you have to mediate between the fast approaching because you know that the time available to shoot is limited but at the same time you do not have to frighten the subject and then stand still, Hold your breath and hope. A dear greeting, Hello Fabrizio

Beautiful macro compliments, I also recently helped me with the monopod x the butterflies in activity I find it useful both to the free hand (micromoved) and to the tripod (lost shots)

Hello Fulvio, I agree fully with you, to use the tripod you have to go early in the morning when they are still asleep or the evening before sunset when they begin to calm down, but if photographers at other times you do not have time to adjust it and then a Monopod becomes very useful. Thanks, hello Fabrizio
