Una curiosita, ma tra i due extender 1.4x e 2x, cosi da ingorante, prenderei sicuramente il 2x per avere un maggiore ingrandimento, quindi mi sfugge il motivo per cui esiste anche l'1.4x (è solo una questione di prezzo?).
In ultimo ho fatto un giretto nel tuo profilo e mi sono letto piacevolmente alcuni tuoi articoli e ho dato un'occhiata a qualche galleria, mi è piaciuta molto quella dei germani reali.
Fortunatamente il lago dove vivono quelli che ho fotografato io è a 10 min da casa mia e cosi posso tornare a fare altre prove, magari quando avrò il 400mm.

Ecco perchè , avendolo avuto, e percependo una tua ricerca di qualità ai massimi valori perseguibili potresti orientarti sul 70-200mm f.4 l is usm f.4 ottimo anche per ritratti e per questo genere di riprese di soggetti non schivi. Con l'extender 1,4 montato sul 70-200mm non ci sono perdite di nitidezza degne di nota. Se invece sei sicuro che un domani ti interesserà di più la caccia fotografica i 280-300mm potrebbero essere corti ... in questo caso tra i super zoom consiglio il canon 100-400mm, tra i fissi il canon 300mm f.4 l is usm stabilizzato + extender 1.4x e il canon 400mm f.5,6 l usm (non stabilizzato) .
