FLAT, disciplina del monociclo sportivo che coniuga potenza ed equilibrio. Basta una superficie piana urbana tipo un parcheggio o un campetto asfaltato per dare il via a una serie di concatenazioni di trick ed evoluzioni spettacolari, dai più semplici come il 360 unispin (il rider saltando fa fare al monociclo un ciclo completo, 360° appunto) ai più difficili come il 1080 unispin (5 cicli completi) e il 180 seatwhip (la sella e il telaio compiono un giro di 180°gradi, da "ore 12" a giro completo tornano nella stessa posizione e il flatter riesce a chiudere il trick). Questa è solo una delle tante discipline del meraviglioso mondo del monociclo sportivo, i due Paesi trainanti che contano il maggior numero di atleti iscritti alle rispettive federazioni sono la Germania e il Giappone.
