Grand Capucin sent on April 22, 2018 (14:55) by Nordend4612. 18 comments, 936 views.

1/2000 f/5.6, ISO 80, hand held. Monte Bianco, Italy.

Critiche e commenti graditi!

Really beautiful. It took me a while to find the climbers at the bottom. Those spikes are really impressive, and the PDR makes them honor! Congratulations!!

I usually prefer the biancoenero. Here, in front of the wonderful red granite of the Capucin and the other buttresses of the Tacul, it is impossible for me not to love the color version more. Congratulations!

Beautiful shot. I also prefer the color version, which enhances the particular hue of the rock.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the east wall, first climbed solo by the great W. Ball more than sixty years ago.

Thank you all! I am very happy that you like this shot... captured during the downhill skiing of the Vallee Blanche.
shot that I had in mind to do since we talked about making that descent... thank goodness that you are a little ' dissipated the clouds... that anyway tomorrow much atmosphere!
@Guido: Right, it's just the east wall of the ball... what a feat!
@Stefano: I personally am undecided... the colors of the rock in this case are fascinating but the NL in high mountain for me always has its charm... anyway I think one of the two will end up printed is hanging in the house! :-D
@Roby: Thanks! That rock is actually gorgeous!
@Leonardo: Heh, unfortunately with the compact more than that I could not make the prospettiva...ma I like it anyway.
Good evening, everyone!
Thanks again.
