che dire di un'immagine così
semplicemente bella
Giuseppe

what about a picture so
simply beautiful
to be really picky there is an excess of sharp in the sea around the boat and under the ruins, but the fact remains that the picture has some very beautiful colors
Joseph

Kame Sorry, can you explain a minimum of post, 'cause the sun to esponento (multi-segment metering, center-weighted or spot? It' important!) With a single click and 'hard to get a landscape so' fully enlightened, however excessive the colors of the sky around the sun and the reflection. Good components but, in my opinion, too much sky.
Quoto Joseph for the excess sharp.

Hello Max, I posted on purpose, with the demand.
What you call excessive sharpness of 1200pixel starting from 36mp file, it is almost normal.
You may notice slight blurring the foreground.

The post has been performed with DXO Optics Pro 8 (released yesterday), as regards the balance of exposure, and for the CS6 with only resizing.
The original raw is as follows:

(You will realize that it was impossible for me to notice the foreground slightly out of focus:-D)

For a mere technical experiment I exposed the sun correctly, in matrix mode with more than -2 ev.

To date, only a d800 you can afford to think only about the highlights and bring it home in one fell swoop a similar image.

What you call excessive sharpness of 1200pixel starting from 36mp file, it is almost normal.

??? That feeling and 'due to the recovery of shadows that the program has made to take advantage of the dynamic range and has practically "raped" the pixels, on the other hand take home a picture from a raw black was science fiction a few years ago.
6, 16, or 36 mp if resized to 1200 do not earn in sharpnes.

Hello Max, I'm sorry but I do not follow.
The image, as the FN used is not so engraved.
It 's just the bicubic sharper in CS6 that makes it so.

;-)

For the record, I'm particularly in this picture, in fact in many ways I do not like.
It 'a mere technical experiment.

O no?

6, 16, or 36 mp if resized to 1200 do not earn in sharpnes.

Repeat the above, an image well exposed simply resized, does not lead to an increase of sharpness. That effect on the rocks' similar to the use of reckless burning shadows and lights fencing. That 's not the case, but if the bicubic more' for sharp reductions created these problems, it might be worth to resize with bicubic for shades omogenne sharp and apply later.
Or not?

Max, the original image is on my PC, if I tell you that what you call it is only due to the bicubic sharper should, honestly, believe me, do not you think? ;-)

Io ci credo assolutamente Eeeek!!!

I believe absolutely wow!

Too bad for those who 'surrendered immediately and sold its D800 to go to ... (I do not do names)

Mi hanno chiesto?
Non ne sono consapevole!

Guardo. Grazie!

They asked me?
I am not aware!

Guardo. Thanks!

Edit: I figured as if they are simply screwed.
A good make, if they are all going frigate photos ... do not even have a point of contact on the site. Now I do.
