Il "Marrobbio" è un evento abbastanza raro che si verifica in sicilia e soprattutto a Lampedusa. Consiste nel repentino ritiro delle acque che poi si riversano rapidamente sulle coste e nei porti causando gravi danni alle imbarcazioni. Non è prevedibile ma quando il cielo assume questo colore con assenza di vento si dice che c'è aria di marrobbio!

I would add that last year there was an outstanding meteotsunami drained completely the port ... After a few minutes she stood suddenly the tide which surpassed seawalls and it arrived in the streets. Result: lots of broken boats and 3 fishing boats sunk. Mine got miraculously saved (only the small ruined)
