This summer we then went to Bialowieza. ;-) We were able to see the bison even at liberty, but a few other animals, I admit. The dense vegetation of the forest made it difficult to give a face (or a muzzle/beak :-D) to the many verses and noises that surrounded us. Anyway we had fabulous walks. We were there only 4 nights, because we wanted to take a wider tour in Poland, which proved in general a wonderful surprise! Unfortunately the hot weather was heavy and elsewhere we regretted a bit of the chilly forest. :-D
