Attack on the side of the mountain sent on March 21, 2018 (8:14) by Lorisb. 53 comments, 1700 views. [retina]

at 74mm, 1/500 f/7.1, ISO 100, hand held.

Great pdr, the proportions well I render the grandeur of the quarry, beautiful Loris.

Great shot Loris ...
But when I'm sorry to see certain things ... :-(

Paki :-P thanks for your appreciation and comment.
Vitt :-P thanks to you too, I have already included other photos of the genre and often came out of the ambiguity between the "beauty" of the photo and the disfigured environmental scenario, unfortunately everything is already known, the marble in these places is extracted for millennia, the only thing that today exaggerates with the means available.
Greetings to both, Loris :-)

The choice of the cut makes it exactly the quarry environment, a gash in a world where generations and generations of men have carried out a hard work with expertise that often requires the sacrifice of human lives. Beautiful! Emanuele.

Hi Loris
Here you are in my part :-D
Nice vertical cut and nice document
I would have cloned or not included in the scene the bulldozers cut at the bottom left ;-)
Compliments
A greeting
Simone ;-)

Simo :-P
Thanks to all of you for your passage and appreciation, I was very pleased.
PS Simo thank you for the attention and advice that you always give me, too bad that you do not use the programs that allow you to make many tweaks, I'm one of the few I know, but the only one available to me and that of Canon, much limited.
Hello everyone :-P :-P

Pdr fits perfectly to bring out the grandeur of the quarry, but it is a pity that this type of extraction leaves irreparable damage, but you are certainly not responsible for this. I really like the shot, congratulations.

We rarely see photos with pdr more apt than this. The image is simultaneously documentary and artistic. Difficult to do better.
