Bandon Sunset - WA sent on October 26, 2012 (22:34) by Eru. 21 comments, 2971 views.

at 24mm, Posa B f/5.6, ISO 100, tripod.

Sforni ... masterpieces of color, Eru! :-D
Beautiful colors and charming silhouettes of the rocks in the foreground, for which I "dared" more, making them a nice deep black.

thanks for the comments. As for closing the precise silhouette that I did not open the blacks, there was a slight reflection of the wet beach on the rocks and did not want to lose it, also I'm not opposed to the silhouette but those Masons blacks was a little too "big blocks" not the texture of a branch or a fine fine spire. That slight detail in my opinion the best sets.

great light made perfectly, I hit the heights above the background framed between the boulders that give great depth, great choice of composition. Given my discreat INGNORANZA switching technique to explain to me the question of the filter and the sensor in color reproduction

Thanks

As a first impression, and it would seem to have to close the shades and create a picture more courageous, then you realize that the exhibition "different" for a backlight is all there and you enjoy it, congratulations!

watch an average of the sensors in standard light conditions are very precise, in broad daylight with regular lighting usually have little to correct. I save when I keep my views in WB car because in the meantime it is impossible to adjust with the schermino then if you manually set too high, the risk of forgetting to change from shot to shot. But it is not a problem because the systems in RAW you after what you want.

The problem that I find instead in sunrises and sunsets is that with fast shutter and auto settings I made a shift of tone, Yellow cools me warm, delicate cyani me it adds to the cyan, magenta me neutralizes not so little. The B + W 10 stop which has a cast of his + magenta, combined with long lead times that help a lot more complex to capture nuances of color I think will give me a result of "in-room" & a lot more ugrave, close to the color of the moment. Since it is more difficult to reconstruct in RAW, if I'm in a hurry and do not tend to shoot with filter these lights.
Even without the result can be nice but it is not as close to the colors seen.
