On Friday evening, I went out for 5 minutes just to get one shot (after a few testing), the spindly BeFree's legs half lost in the deep snow.
Half an hour later, the lights went off and the next night, some Yeti had dragged itself over all that lovely clear gorgeous snow, leaving craters. So, it was a very good thing that I got the shot when I did.
Rather too much editing required, to balance the many light sources, mostly artificial. If I had shot any further to the right, then the tripod would have cast its shadow all over the snow.
Posting now, as the thaw is thick and fast and I am helping clear pavements of the half slush/ice so people can safely walk on them. Have an excellent afternoon and see you all later this evening. |
