Le attraversate nel deserto (tutti ricorderanno l'ex Parigi-Dakar) mi ha sempre stupito per due ragioni: l'assoluta solitudine e la voglia di fronteggiarsi con la natura più estrema.
Venendo alla fotografia, trovo che ci siano due aspetti molto interessanti:
1. Il contrasto cromatico rosso-sabbia attira subito l'occhio dell'osservatore che si sofferma sul soggetto.
2. Le ombre dure accrescono questo senso di fatica e di drammaticità che, talvolta, lo sport riserva ai suoi atleti.
Di contro, però, c'è il lato compositivo che non mi convince.
Anzitutto non capisco la scelta di conservare una parte del cielo che non ha nulla di interessante ed, anzi, riduce d'impatto la foto. Secondo punto è la scelta di conservare il soggetto al centro del fotogramma, privandolo di alcun senso di dinamismo. Chiaramente sul lato "tempi", a meno di avere un filtro ND, poco potevi fare, però una composizione che partisse da un decentramento del soggetto (in questo caso meglio a dx visto la traiettoria che percorre) ed una maggiore enfasi sul deserto, avrebbe aiutato nel raccontare questo difficilissimo sport.
Credo che il binomio solitudine-deserto sia stato un po' il filo conduttore che ti abbia portato a scattare, allora perché non enfatizzarlo ulteriormente?!
