Ciao Jeckow, scusami per il ritardo della risposta.
Certo che merita la visita e non solo, Amristar merita di essere vista e vissuta.
Il Golden Temple come importanza religiosa, è per gli Sikh come la Mecca per i Mussulmani. Il contesto comunque merita assolutamente anche con tutte le limitazioni che ci sono per fotografare (sono molto rigorosi), la foto che ho proposto è scattata da un PDR assolutamente vietato.
Nei pressi di Amristar, c'è il confine con il Pakistan dove si può assistere alla cerimonia della chiusura quotidiana dei cancelli del confine, una cerimonia molto particolare e coinvolgente, molto vissuta emotivamente dalle due popolazioni: Indiana e Pakistana.

Of course it is worth a visit and not only, Amristar deserves to be seen and experienced.
The Golden Temple as religious importance, is for the Sikhs as Mecca for Muslims. The context however is well worth even with all the limitations that we have to take pictures (they are very strict), the photos that I have proposed is taken from a PDR strictly prohibited.
Near Amristar, there is the border with Pakistan where you can watch the ceremony of the daily closing of the gates of the border, a very special ceremony and engaging, very experienced emotionally by the two populations: Indian and Pakistani.
