con Sigma 1.4x TC-1401, 1/800 f/9.0, ISO 1600, hand held. Samburu National Reserve, Kenya. Specie: Lycaon pictus

#wild #safari

I agree with Stefania and as I told you several times from this trip you brought home high-level images (qualitative) with subjects not always easy to see.
Beautiful this gathering of wild dogs and your story is beautiful
Compliments

Congratulations a great shot, well defined and with beautiful tones. Your caption reinforces even more the image thanks to the emotion experienced in certain situations, unusual, of great excitement.
Very good

Always beautiful and interesting shots that you take home from your travels in Africa. Here a band of African wild dogs with beautiful but not favorable light, well managed. You're really a staple in the industry! Greetings, Giorgio.

Fantastic document of this unfortunately rare carnivore. I can understand your excitement Fabio! Of all the predators in Africa this is the subject even experienced rangers and professional wildlife photographers covet the most.
For those who don't know, these are the most successful of Africa's carnivorous big game hunters. About 80% of hunts end in a kill compared to something like lions where the success rate is about 10%. Also unlike other Africa predators such as lions and hyenas wild dogs are unselfish and share the prey evenly among the group.
Quality image and excellent PP!
Ciao
Brian
