Dopo aver letto il bel libro di Dacia Maraini "Isolina" sono andato in cerca del bassorilievo a Verona, in una via traversa di corso Cavour. Ho messo vicino le due scarpette rosse e il gioco è stato fatto: Isolina era una giovane ragazza che rimase incinta di un ufficiale italiano, dando alla luce il bambino mori'.
