Hi Valentina
the B & N is well worked ;-)
I like the murals and it's really interesting

what convinces me little is the composition
the terraces on the right are interesting and a lot but I personally miss something to complete the scene like a human figure ;-)
in cut chosen x the lower part I see it forced
surely you had a right reason to compose so
I stick to what I see, always according to my taste :-) you see whether to consider my reading or not
I personally see the shot a little 'unfinished ;-)
good job
A greeting
Simone :-)

Simone I'm glad you like this b / n :-D
the human figure would never have been "matched" with the mural that is about 5 meters in height and unfortunately there were some bad scaffolding and people positioned in "muzzo" (in Sicilian "case") that disturbed and they simply turned their attention to what was for me the main subject.
Surely the composition could be better, but the reality is that I did not see this cut when I took, but I composed it after just for the reasons mentioned above ;-)
Precisely because of the sense of unfinished I have included it in the still life category and not in urban landscapes.
I hope I have succeeded in explaining my choices and, as always, I thank you for the ideas and suggestions you give me.

Ok Valentina I understood ;-)
If this was your intent then I would have personally made an even more selective cut, focusing everything on the strength of the mural, positioning it at the center of the shot and trying to eliminate everything that creates noise
This always according to my way of seeing :-)
Again, a greeting
Simone ;-)

Beautiful B / N.
Excellent recovery that describes well the quote in the caption.
I am of the opinion that everyone should express themselves as they believe, both in photography and in art,
and not for someone as he would like it to be.
Congratulations Valentina

Greetings Livio

The mural is particularly evocative and well you did to take it back and share it, I read the comments of the friends preceded me and your explanation, actually in that context it is not easy to extrapolate a shot as you would like, and in my opinion, in the category still life, there is great, as well as title and caption.

Thank you so much for your very welcome comments :-P
Photography, like any kind of art, is absolutely personal taste, so I'm happy that you share my choices in this shot. That said I'm always a newbie who still has a lot to learn ;-)
A good evening,
Valentina

If these uncivilized (and 'a euphemism) paint these stuff in the walls of their own home instead of smearing public things I do not think he would have to hurt anyone, but so much and civilization' evolves ... :-(
Valid document to be taken for what it's worth, the philosophy of Garcia Marquez is still saved; congratulations Valentina.
Greetings, Claudio :-P
