La Terrazza Mascagni è un grande piazzale delimitato verso il mare da una sinuosa balaustra formata da 4.100 eleganti colonnine in conglomerato cementizio; il pavimento è costituito da una scacchiera di 8.700 metri quadrati formata da 34.800 piastrelle bianche e nere. Ultimata nel 1935 è una delle passeggiate più belle d'italia, non è facile uscire dagli schemi con questo soggetto visto che è uno dei più fotografati di Livorno, ed è anche impossibile fotografarlo interamente essendo ondulato come la linea costiera. Questo scatto è un lavoro a 4 mani, 2 di "zeffyro" che lo ha eseguito, e le mie due che lo hanno reso pano e hanno fatto la PP per dargli le cromie che riportassero a quell'effetto retrò degli anni in cui è stata costruita.
