Your way of reading and interpreting nature through photography is something really fascinating, congratulations!

You're incredible, Simone! :-D After unspeakable contortions and grimaces of pain you managed to pull out a shot of great strength and character where I never imagined! :-D
The shot is beautiful: pity that the trees were not a bit 'closer, but also makes it good. You did a "job" on the sky, getting a really "gothic" atmosphere!
Very good... ;-)

I share the thought of Peter!
Your images, on which I often linger, never leave me indifferent!
Each of us in life can feel like that tree at the center now unable to react despite the presence and support of others ... As if there was an invisible but impenetrable wall that separates it from the rest of the world ... time emerges the suffering of those who try in vain to approach his friend trying to protect him as they can, but in vain ... A feeling of impotence, a state of profound uneasiness accompanied by fear, pain, pity ...

You're really good Simone! This is not the classic beautiful picture, but something more! Compliments!
Violet

Some shots are difficult to comment, but when in four comments has already been said all imaginable, the task is even more difficult, I do not miss all four quoto, but I add that the shot has its own charm, but the what I admire most and that somehow you have nicely let yourself be involved in the imaginative seeing of his friend Riccardo, congratulations for this Simone too!

Grazie.

Un caro saluto a tutti
Simone.

... Yes, I have the backstage! But you're in such a convoluted position that you do not recognize yourself! :-D

These weeds are becoming increasingly disturbing ..
Even in this shot you have made good the drama of natural events, what to add that has not already been said?
After reading the various comments and having noticed how the tree extends upwards I am reminded of a saying, Help yourself that Heaven helps you 8-)
Greetings to all those present
Claudio

I see her as a sister of that of Alberto (barren womb) and I give an interpretation a bit 'different from yours, in the sense that the tree now prey of weeds seems to be shouting to heaven his despair and his invocation of help while all the others are ... watching. A little like our society today ..

You did a great job in post, compliments Simone.

the trees around try a last desperate attempt to save their friend, but it is too risky, they can not get closer

Shit, I left you a police commissioner, now you're a poet :-D :-P
I like it, it has a dark and mysterious atmosphere that has its charm. Certainly the illuminated sky area gives sense to the photo.
There is some small 'smudge' of PP (clearer halos in the branches of the central tree) and I would have opened a thread the shadows, always of the central tree.
Greetings

ciao
Simone

Photographing the trees from below is a common shot but when you do it is a different shot and very nice.
