Good colors and maf. Rather than a 3/4 shot with an open diaphragm you could look for the parallelism between the sensor plane and the butterfly and apply a smaller aperture value to slightly increase the pdc. With ol paralellism the area included in the pdc would be etched from the eyes to the tail of the subject. (Imho)
I remind you that if the subject has been taken in a controlled environment, as per regulation, it must be indicated in the shooting data. (correct phrase: "subject taken in amb.controllato) more exactly in the field" Caption "that exists to add other annotations or any information you want to share about the photo. ;-)

Marco

I like it.
A be fussy, closing your wings completely in focus a little bit.

In fact the whole series suffers from technical errors but the colors were beautiful and also the situation, I was in the family, and so the whole thing had to be inserted into normality, between a tea is an explanation, with so many other people. These are captive subjects as evidenced.
It's not my favorite shot.
Thanks of the step ;-)

in subsequent photos I closed much more, up to f8, you limit the difpher and framing the subject side perfectly

cit.ne mark Needs: A f/8 begins to appear a physiological diffraction, but it is fully usable. The yield at f/11 also remains good. At f/16 the quality, especially at the edges, decreases considerably: to be used only if you can not do without; f/22, on the other hand, is to be avoided .
This I would start to move the stake on this optics of the f.8 to max f.11-f13 ;-)
