I try to write something but "on tiptoe".
Technically, the photo is well done but, I do not put "I like it" solely out of respect for the very serious content it contains and reflects!
A greeting.
Antonio.

Thanks Antonio, I understand your "point of view" and I greatly appreciate your sensitivity in dealing with the topic.
I'm not sure I made the right choice to publish these photos, it took four months to decide and I published them in the end. I hope I will not be misunderstood: I did it only as a testimony on what was done in memory of what happened on September 11th and certainly not to collect "I like it" ... I hope it is understood also by the captions.

Yura, I had a picture so I would have published it myself.
I did not know about the laying of the roses on the occasion of the birthdays of the victims, this thing has touched me a lot and, without your testimony, maybe I would never have known it.
I thought it inappropriate to put a "like" because it seemed almost to "approve a tragedy", this was the meaning, the testimony you gave us with this shot is commendable and places beyond a simple I like it.
Let me explain better, depending on me, this shot I would insert "right" in the Gallery Editor's Pick with zero "like".
A greeting.
Antonio.

You have explained very well Antonio and I repeat that I really appreciated your comments, really ... among other things I have already had the opportunity to discuss with others about the questionable mechanisms of "like" so with me you can see an open door !

I wish you a good evening and I thank you sincerely!

;-)

When I opened it, I confess that those anxieties have re-emerged, those horrendous scenes of time have taken shape. Commenting on this testimony is not easy. May I share Antonio Ruscito's choice, but how important can a
like
be in these situations? I share it and virtually associate it with a rose to be placed next to the hundreds of other roses on that panel of the World Trade Center. I quote this translation into Italian of the text of the Boss's song "In to the fire"; perhaps it is more effective than a thousand rhetorical words of circumstance.
The sky collapsed and was streaked with blood
I heard you calling me
Then you disappeared in the dust.
(Bruce Springsteen)

Hi Yura and thank you for making us remember, with this document, one of the infinite wickedness of the human race.
bye gios
