although the character is drowned in the shadows, it is a picture that makes you look ... the shadow reproduced on the wall replaces the absent part of the human figure. ;-)

Great shot, the shadows ennoble and make the shot very interesting.
Compliments

Beautiful! Shadows are an integral part of photography, without it it would have made no sense.

Hi Giovanni, I'm sorry to go against the current but the subject that is entering the shadow area does not seem to me to be functional. The piece of shadow on the right is not significant to represent the subject. Being so the.pdr I do not think that you could use the shadow on the right even if the subject had been completely hidden.
Secondo.me a little weak.

Thank you very much Stefano, in all sincerity are reasoning that I still can not fully estimate and I also ask you how you would have conceived and taken a picture like that .. I was convinced that the photo was more than anything else the background and I had given much importance to the main subject! A greeting and more than welcome criticism, advice and observations

Chiaramente imho
Un caro saluto
Stefano

Thank you so much Stefano of the precious advice ... I am sure that with the passage of time and more experience I will be able to make the various elements of the photo dialogue better ... in the meantime I assure you that the fun and the pleasure of photographing are not lacking!
Greetings, see you soon!
John
