an ode to the violin-making, yes, but also to the carved wood that is here subjected to the magnificent violin and the reflection that strikes it and enhances its sinuous shape. a still-life refined and of great beauty. congratulations Alberto and a warm greeting, GA

Thanks 1000 Simonetta :-), it's an old picture of me (80s I think) that I found doing some order in the attic ...

As always, a great choice: a nice return to the theme of the violin, with a "true" black and white, with strong contrasts, but with incredible details in the shadows and lights, and well scanned. Congratulations Alberto and best regards.

Thank you Mario :-), it's true, at the time (when I still had black hair !!!) I liked the strong contrasts and the Agfa cards were really great :-)

Thanks Michele :-), with the passage of time in the attics accumulates a bit of everything, objects and memories related to them, but I am convinced that from time to time you need to get rid of a part of them, doing (possibly!) Place to other things ...
A dear greeting ;-)

Thanks Fiorenzo :-), I tried to combine the art of violin making with that (only apparently minor !!!) of wood carving, I am pleased that the result, even after so many years, you were welcome: - P

Thank you Antonio :-), the print on paper Agfa Brovira, despite all the years spent in the attic (hot / cold), is still in excellent condition, the scanner is a Canon CanoScan Lide and I have a little closed shadows in PP
I must also say that when I printed in b / w I took care to always make a stop in acetic acid diluted before the fixing bath followed by an abundant wash in cold water to remove as much as possible the residues of Acidofix.
A very cordial greeting and a good evening ;-)

Thanks mythical Sergio :-) :-) :-), I must confess that the hedgehog of the violin has happened on the carving of the closet door by pure chance: - | and not for my merit :-(
A dear greeting and a good start of the week ;-)
Alberto
