Contento che ti piaccia. Si parte spesso prevenuti quando ci si reca in un luogo super famoso ed è sempre un errore. Questa foto è stata scattata durante il Photo Tour che ho tenuto con l'amico Fortunato Gatto lo scorso ottobre. Eravamo tutti pronti a vivere la bellezza del luogo e anche a condividerla con la massa di turisti, purtroppo. Per via delle alluvioni che hanno colpito la zona di Hofn in quel periodo la Ring Road è rimasta chiusa per qualche giorno, impedendoci di raggiungere Vestrahorn ma limitando parecchio il turismo nell'area di Jokulsarlon. Quella sera sulla spiaggia c'eravamo solo noi e altre 6-7 persone, chi ha visitato la zona potrebbe non crederci visto il costante afflusso turistico ma noi abbiamo avuto questa grande fortuna.
Un vero e proprio privilegio ammirare lo spettacolo alla luce lunare, con il rumore delle onde e i "crack" dei ghiacci che ogni secondo assumevano posizioni e forme diverse :)

Grazie anche a te Gianni! Se è diventato un luogo sovraffollato ci sarà un motivo. Tutti noi siamo turisti e quindi sarebbe assurdo lamentarsi per la troppa gente in certi luoghi. Delle critiche potrebbero essere mosse al tipo di turismo, al poco rispetto della natura e alla superficialità della maggior parte dei turisti, che non visitano l'Islanda per vivere una grande esperienza e per sentirla pulsare, bensì per realizzare semplicemente degli autoscatti dando quasi sempre le spalle a certe meraviglie per poter condividere con chi è a casa la loro presunta fortuna.
L'Islanda ha tuttavia ancora moltissimo da offrire, al di fuori dalle rotte più battute. Basta allontanarsi di poche centinaia di metri dagli hot spot e uno realizza immediatamente a che cosa mi riferisco ;)
