Covering it better I have to compliment you for the choice of focal ... I would have started sgrandangolando to all ... instead 24 mm is the right length ...

Very nice image for soft shades. The clouds, which I have never found in 4 days spent in that area of ??Bolivia, make the sky interesting, but maybe it was worth including a little 'more foreground to have a beautiful hexagon at the bottom (it's just my reasoning !).
Last thing, it seems to me that the horizon is not perfectly straight.

If you can please in my galleries I have a version of the dawn on the Salar completely different from yours and several photos of the lagoons of the South Bolivian ...

A really nice shot with a great close-up and beautiful colors.
One question, but was there so little light that you had to shoot at ISO 3200?
Compliments.

Hello Simone,
thank you very much for the compliments and the comment .. actually at least for once I was lucky and I caught a few clouds because otherwise that drudgery in the frost to see the dawn would have lost a little bit of charm ..
For the horizon maybe it's true it hangs slightly to the right ..
beautiful also your Bolivian series! and also the frame you put .. do everything directly in lightroom?

Eh yes Erik, it was the second time I returned to the salar de uyuni and it's really a crazy place! :-)

Thank you so much giancarlo! yes you would not say but in reality it was quite dark because the sun had yet to rise and more by shooting at f / 11 and to avoid the blur was the only way .. ;-)

Thanks for the appreciation, I am very pleased ...
I added the frame with Photoshop. I used it to make prints and then I decided to leave it for the images to upload here on Juza ... I think it can be done with Lightroom, but I've never done it and I can not give you directions.

Hello,
Simone

I like the colors and the point of recovery. It could reduce noise only on the aerial part. During the pre-shot phase, the ISO could be reduced by opening the diaphragm in a bit. (Imho)

The place certainly helps to never go wrong photos, me personally but I would have liked to see a more immersive compo, with more foreground that is the real gem of the shot!

Interesting photography for the muted shades without strong contrasts between the clouds that make the sky interesting and the hexes at the bottom well distinctive and characterizing.
to my personal taste I would have framed for 2/3 the ground looking maybe some point of interest...
Congratulations, a greeting

@luca, thank you!
Do you mean to say that I should frame further down to give more prominence to the terrain or have just a foreground in the picture?

@nangi and @Leo Thank you very much!
Yes actually to see it after a while ' I could insert even more ground, but I also liked the clouds.. :-)

Beautiful... although I would have preferred a strong subject in the foreground, transmits very well the vastness of this place

Here I am, yes exactly, I would have framed less heaven and more land! :-D

What a show of place 8-)
The photo is very beautiful, I would slightly reduce the noise selectively in the sky and I would straighten it :-D
