Glad you liked it, Alberto. Thank you so much.
I tried to highlight the optical and mechanical beauty of this wonderful Teutonic masterpiece, which I jealously preserve.

Glad you liked it, Mauro. Thank you so much.
Behind that charm, also incredible for me, there is a great craftsmanship that has been able to harmonize optical and mechanical functionality with the beauty of the product, where every detail was taken care of with extreme precision.
So the constructive philosophy was to produce objects that challenged time, that were more reliable than the competition and that honored the trademark. The image of Carl Zeiss himself, who personally destroyed the defective products of his company by hammering, tells us a lot about the almost obsessive seriousness of producing at best the cost in the best way, and this implies a sacred respect for the buyer.
I'm afraid that the philosophy of seriousness now belongs to the distant past ...

Thank you, Simone.
This wonderful Ikonta is an ancestor of my Contax RTS II and is part of my precious finds.

Beautiful image of a "tank" of the 'era, if they have arrived until today there is a reason' .... I hope you will publish other photos of this gem, as a tribute also to those who preceded us and know how to keep these testimonies of past. Hi Andrea.

I thank you from the heart of the beautiful and welcome comment, Andrea.
At one time almost eternal jewelry was built ...
I read, a while ago, that you would like to see some other photos of this glorious Ikonta, think that I did half an hour ago to offer an overall view of the machine especially to those who did not know it.
Without knowing it, I satisfied your request.
