The specimen is beautiful but the choice to use a diaphragm so open has not paid, the head is not in focus.
Reading the shooting data there was no margin to close the diaphragm f8 .... with f5.6 you had to aim at the head with the side or with the central and then reassemble.

Dear Luigi,
your observation, or better advice, which I thank you anyway, would have been viable if I had been on dry land and maybe with a tripod. Instead I was on a boat, with about 40 other people, that bordered the shore without ever stopping. The time needed to move to manual to close the diaphragm a little would have been equivalent to losing the subject. These are the situations of taking or leaving. In similar conditions I'm happy to always keep the camera on fast shutter for moving targets. Also consider that the photo is a little 'cropped. Being in motion it was difficult if not impossible to frame parts of the subject as you suggest. However, I would be grateful if you could better explain the technique to which you refer (recomposition) because, as a neophyte of nature photography, I do not know it. I hope not to ask you too much.
A grazie anticipated
Francis
