, 1/160 f/7.1, ISO 100, tripod.

I must say that you managed to turn a disadvantage into the advantage ... ;-)
In the sense that now the photos of Sorapis as it may be nice the place are inflated.
Composition and yield of optimal autumn colors!

How sad to see it dried up, we hope that the recent heavy snowfall has settled things.
Great backlight, congratulations!
Hello! Sergio ;-) :-P

The place is lovely, but the scenery is bleak ... Luckily you have valued it with a beautiful composition and a very good yield in general! The larches backlit, then, are fantastic and deserved a shot aside! ;-)

I find it a very interesting shot, beautiful backlight and the colors of the trees. Also it is a nice document on the state of the pond at that time. PS when he took?

Despite the sky without clouds you have been very good. I really like the light; also the point of recovery is excellent and obsolete compared to what has always been seen. This photo has also frankly upset me, I never imagined that the Sorapiss was at this level of drainage :-(
In addition to a good photo, this image will remain an important document.
Compliments!

The photo seems to me excellent from every point of view and also has great value of testimony of an extreme climatic situation. I know the place very well, can I know when you've taken it? Thank you ;-)

Thanks to everyone for the compliments. Responding to the questions the photo was taken on 16/10 this year, as I knew on the spot at the end of September was almost full, unfortunately it did not rain for almost 20 days and these were the results. Regarding the backlit larches are the part that I like most to me, I have in fact a few close-ups to rework (unfortunately they have almost all a bit of flare here and there and need time to fix them: -D).
Thanks again to everyone :-)

Impressive!! Really sad to see the lake so reduced ... for the rest you did a good job, the area of ??larches in backlight is really very beautiful.
Congratulations, hello.

Great job, you have been able to manage the backlight well enhancing the winter colors of the vegetation, have you tried to further close the diaphragm to have a more defined radial effect?

Really nice, the warm colours especially.

Perhaps the lens was not very clean, you can see the typical halos in the area near the sun. But the photo is beautiful and impressive! Congratulations Canotz ;-)

Perhaps my favorite of the gallery, I really like how you handled the "invasion" of the Sun against the light. The crescent moon, above, is a gem.

The diaphragm used for most of the shots is 7.1 (it is a pano of 6 shots) while for the sun I used f / 11. The lens was quite clean but in these conditions the tokina suffers a lot, I also have to f / 22 but the flare was really too invasive and the sun even if more defined was unusable. F / 11 is the workable compromise we say, the ones with the most closed diaphragm were to be trashed or almost :-(
Thanks again to everyone :-)
